Title: *Perspectives in the investigation of the QCD Phase Diagram

Abstract:
I will review our present knowledge about the phase diagram of strongly 
interacting matter, as obtained by means of numerical simulations of 
lattice gauge theories, and discuss the perspectives for future progress 
in the field.
