The initial snow amount in the model is 0. Can i use the Fortran compiler to read the “DOMAIN.INFO”and change it ,then use the changed file to run the model?IF can't ,how can i do that? I am look forward for your response ,Thank you very much! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

In the current code, the DOMAIN.INFO file has been replaced by a netCDF file,
domname_DOMAIN000.nc. The snowam field in the input file is used to determine
the initial snow amount in the initb subroutine in mod_mtrxbats. I was planning
to add an input layer to interpolate NSIDC data on the model grid, but it is in
the TODO list. I am attaching anyway a simple program to read in two steps EASE
gridded data into grads, we have used as of now this to compare model output
snow to measured snow. What is missing now is just the interpolation part.
