Forgot the following: now the model in V 4.3.5 is also able also to use a
previous run surface output snow field to initialize the model snow at startup.

The procedure is this:

- Do a first run for 2-5 years to build up a "good" snow coverage.
- Extract the snow field from the last timestep in the last output SRF file:

    ncks -d time,120 domname_SRF.YYYYMMDDHH.nc snow.nc
    ncrename -v snv,scv snow.nc

- Place the snow.nc file in the model running directory and run again the
terrain program. The presence of the snow.nc file should be detected, and the
snow coverage snowam should be read from that file. A message should be present
in the terrain printout.

Ciao!

Graziano.
