Hi,
1 - Yes, it is latest version of the patch. When you are applying the
patch, there could be some problem related with the version of RegCM3.
The version of the RegCM3 that is used to create patch may not match
with the current version. In that case you could modify the RegCM3 based
on the contents of the diff files.
2 - The files is in same structure when i used this tool. The shell
scripts must be used to generate annual netcdf files from grib ones. It
basically use the CDO and NCO tools to process the files and you have to
install these tools. In my case the data and shell scripts are stored in
following directory structure,
ECHAM/
20C/
A2/
B1/
UTIL/
and UTIL directory contains the shell scripts (see attachment). To
process files, you have to split grib files into annual ones. To do that
you can use attached split.sh script. Please follow the instructions;
1 - use gendat.sh to create annual grib files. Comment out required
scenario part that contains the lower and upper limits of the year. Such
as the lines start with,
# 20C ECHAM
#arr1[1960]=1 arr2[1960]=1464
#arr1[1961]=1465 arr2[1961]=2924
This list can be changed by input dataset and you can create yours by
using genarray.sh. Please note that, these scripts are not generic ones
and you may have to modify them.
2 - use gendat2.sh to create RegCM3 netcdf input. These files must be
placed under DATA directory.
Best regards and good luck,
