        New wave of Regional Innovation Valleys confirms continuous
        interest from Member States and Associated Countries

The Commission has unveiled a second wave of Regional Innovation Valleys 
(RIVs), expanding the initiative to new regions, while underscoring its 
growing appeal across the EU. The scheme continues to bolster 
innovation, economic cohesion and inclusive growth, reinforcing the EU’s

      Success stories


        Co-created solutions for a fairer green transition

The European Green Deal’s transition measures are addressing the urgent 
challenges of today, but the risk of inequality remains. To counter 
this, the EU-funded ACCTING project has been co-designing and trialling 
climate actions with marginalised groups. The approach has resulted in

        Industry 5.0 community of practice: Plenary session 2026

The European Commission, Directorate-General for Research and 
Innovation, is organising the second Plenary Session of the Industry 5.0 
Community of Practice. The event will bring together members of the 
Industry 5.0 Community of Practice (CoP 5.0), representing stakeholders 
from across Europe, from various sectors, including industry, academia
