The "Information & Decisions Across Scales: Constraints and Optimality 
in Neural and Biological Networks” (IDeAS) workshop will take place from 
May 18th to May 22nd at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of 
Complex Systems in Dresden, Germany.

The goal of the workshop is to explore how biological and artificial 
systems process information to make decisions under energetic and 
computational constraints. With 15+ invited speakers from different 
fields, we will bridge scales from molecular sensing to neural 
processing and machine learning to investigate whether universal 
information-theoretic principles govern adaptive decision-making.

The 200€ registration fee includes both accommodation and meals for the 
entire duration of the workshop. Abstract submissions for contributed 
talks and posters are welcome. The application deadline is 15th February
