The ICTP Library and Global Science Portal are thrilled to invite you to a
talk by Catherine Goodman (ACS Publications) on AI in scientific
publishing.

Title: "AI in Publishing: Navigating the Future of Scholarly Communication"

Dr. Catherine Goodman has worked in scientific publishing since 2006,
including roles as a Senior Editor at Nature Chemical Biology, a
Scientific Editor at the Journal of Biological Chemistry, and now Senior
Associate Publisher at the American Chemical Society. In her current role,
she directly manages Biochemistry and oversees a portfolio of >10
journals, including ACS’s flagship physical chemistry, polymer and
analytical chemistry titles.

Time: 2 PM, Monday 10th March.
Place: Luigi Stasi Lecture Hall.

The talk will also be available online as a Zoom meeting via the ICTP
Global Science Portal for those who cannot attend the physical event.
