Postdoctoral Opportunity - Research focus on statistical inference and 
theory of neural networks: statistical mechanics, random matrix theory, 
information-theoretic and algorithmic aspects

A post-doctoral position is available in ICTP's Quantitative Life 
Sciences (QLS) section starting spring 2024.

The research project focuses on statistical inference and theory of 
neural networks: statistical mechanics, random matrix theory, 
information-theoretic and algorithmic aspects


The fellowship is linked to the project CHORAL GA 101039794 on the 
«Computational Hardness Of RepresentAtion Learning» funded by the 
European Research Council, with Dr. Jean Barbier as Principal Investigator.
