University of Turin. She is part of the international Open Science
network, being a member of several working groups, EU funded projects,
and scientific boards. She has been training and advocating for Open
Access and Open Science since 2010.

*Abstract:* Does Open Access mean only publishing in Open Access
journals? Are all Open Access publishers "predatory"? Do you always pay
to publish? This webinar aims at answering the common concerns about
Open Access, giving an overview on what Open Access really means, why it
is important, and how to properly open up your research - which of
course does not mean publishing in Open Access journals!

The talk will be followed by a question/answer session.
