ICTP's Quantitative Life Sciences (QLS) 
<cid:part1.76E045C6.F12BE5FC at ictp.it> section seeks applications for one 
postdoctoral position starting spring/summer 2022 from outstanding young 
scientists of any nationality with a strong research record.

Candidates should have a background in statistical physics and/or 
applied mathematics, and be able to carry active multidisciplinary 
research in at least one of the following research areas:

  *   stochastic thermodynamics;
  *   stochastic processes in biological physics;
  *   statistical physics of information processing;
  * thermodynamics of computation, learning and coding theory.

Candidates with expertise in theoretical aspects, data analysis and 
numerical simulations are especially encouraged to apply.

Applications and expressions of interest are welcome. Applications 
should include a cover letter, an updated CV including the full list of 
publications, a statement of research interests, and two or more letters 
of recommendation.
