Prof. Leticia Brambila Paz (CIMAT, Guanajuato,
Mexico) will give a talk on

On the Hilbert scheme of the moduli space of stable bundles

on Wednesday, May 9th, at 2:30 pm in Room 134 (SISSA Building
A, first floor).

Abstract: Studying the geometry of projective varieties frequently involves
understanding its subvarieties. Roughly speaking, the Hilbert schemes
and the Chow schemes  are  schemes that  parametrise
subvarieties of a projective variety. In this talk I will describe some subvarieties
of the moduli space of stable vector bundles over a curve and the Hilbert scheme associated to this subvarieties.
