will give two lectures on

Irreducibility and Approximate Roots

Abstract:  In the first lecture I shall show
that if F is a monic polynomial of degree N
in Y over the meromorphic series field K((X))
then several other polynomials associated with F
are also irreducible.  In the second lecture I
shall apply this to approximate roots of F.
