[RegCNET] CORDEX conference and RegCM workshop

Dear RegCNETers

I wanted to draw your attention to two very important back-to-back events
to take place this fall at ICTP.

The fifth CORDEX conference ICRC-CORDEX 2023 on 25-29 September 2023
The 11th RegCM workshop on 2-6 October 2023

The CORDEX conference usually brings together most of the scientific
community interested in regional climate research, while the regCM
workshop will focus on the release of the latest version of the RegCM,
RegCM5, which constitutes a substantial advance compared to the previous
version of the model. Therefore, optimally, you should try to attend both
events. ICTP will have some funding to sponsor participation of scientists
from developing countries, giving priority to participants attending both
events. The registration is currently open for both events (see ICTP
website), so I urge you to apply to both, even though obviously
participation to the RegCM workshop will necessarily be much more limited.
We'll see.
