 Dear Sir,

 I have two queries/requests.

 1) Does anybody know how to plot the global soil datasets in GrADS that is used as fixed boundary condition in BATS and CLM? Any
sort of assistance/suggestion for plotting would be of great help.
 2) What is the depth of root zone for soil moisture values (rsw) computed in BATS? Different vegetation types have different
depths, ranging between 1m, 1.5m and 2m. Does the depth vary from grid point to grid point when the vegetation type varies? If
one needs to do a domain average of the root zone soil moisture and calculate the volumetric value, does he need to divide by
1.5m (the average of the three)?

 Thanks in anticipation.
 with regards,

 Subhadeep.
