Hello Dr. R.Jagannathan,
From the SRF output you can have tas, qas and ps.
float tas(time, m2, iy, jx) ;
tas:long_name = "Near surface air temperature" ;
float qas(time, m2, iy, jx) ;
qas:long_name = "Near surface air specific humidity" ;
float ps(time, iy, jx) ;
ps:long_name = "Surface Pressure" ;
Transform their units to temperature (T, Degree Celsius), pressure(P, hPa)
and specific humidity(Q, kg/kg), the relative humidity (RH, %) can be
calculated by:
pvapor_saturated = 6.11*10^(7.5*T/(237.3+T))
rh = Q * P / (0.622+0.378*Q) / pvapor_saturated *100
Regards,
Yubin

Dear all,
I want to calculate Relative Humidity at 2 m height from the outputs of
RegCM4.4 outputs. I request that some body can help me as this is important
for our agricultural crop weather relationship
