[RegCNET] Is precipitaion from REGCM4 ACCUMULATED?

Dear Ulrich,
The precipitation in RegCM is not accumulated, it is just the average during the 3 hrs. So if you want to calculate the monthly precipitation and compare with the OBS from stations you should calculate the SUM.

Dear RegCNETers,
I have to calculate monthly preicpitation from regcm4 output which is 3-hour precipitation. Is the 3-hourly rainfall accumulated? I wonder whether I need to DE-ACUMULATE  the rainfall before I do the monthy sum. 
Any suggestions?
