Dear Netsanet
Basically the optical properties have to be calculated off line using a
Mie code.
You need to calculate optical properties knowing the effective radius of
your bin ( or an explicitly a sub-bin distribution) and for for every
spectral band of the model ( checkout mod_rad_radiation ( wavmin,
wavmax) . Given the non linearity of Mie calculation, you might want to
consider integrating and averaging the optical properties over the
spectral bands ( actually you also integaret over the sub-bin size if
you know a sub-bin distribution ) . Then you need basically to add this
information to the table in mod_rad_aerosol which gives the values of
kext, ssa,g . However I am surprised that your code did not crash ,
because excceeding array range in mod_rad_aer... do not forget to enable
the debug option : ./configure --enable debug when you are developping
new pieces of code to track such potential bugs..
I hope it helps !
