Respected Sir,

I am running REGCM 4.3.5 -BATS coupled model for CORDEX south asia domain . Previously i was running the model for IPCC A1B scenario using EH5AM model boundary conditions . But current guidelines asks us to use RCP scenarios.

The important  components of my  test_015.in are as  follows :

&globdatparam
 ibdyfrq = 6,
 ssttyp = 'EHA1B',
 dattyp = 'EHA1B',
 gdate1 = 2015123118,
 gdate2 = 2016123118,
 dirglob = './INPUT',
 inpglob = './regcm_data',

and

&physicsparam
 iboudy  =          5,
 ibltyp  =          1,
 icup    =          2,
   igcc    =         2,
 ipptls  =          1,
 iocnflx =          2,
 ipgf    =          0,
 iemiss  =          1,
 lakemod =          0,
 ichem   =          0,
 scenario = 'A1B',
 idcsst = 0,
 iseaice = 0,
 idesseas = 1,
 iconvlwp = 1,

I want to confirm that for RCP scenario run for dynamical downscaling using RegCM4.3.5... can i use the same boundary conditions using EH5OM data OR there is any other data which i have to use to for the RegCM4.3.5 model to run under RCP scenario.

i.e. In &physicsparam can i use scenario  as  "RCP4.5" or "RCP6" instead of "A1B" and in  ssttyp = 'EHA1B', dattyp = 'EHA1B'is given .  The Regcm 4.3.5 user manual provides us the options to use RCP scenarios in physicsparam.

Appreciate if you provide necessary technical details.

Best Wishes
