Dear Sravani,

what's the horizental resolution you are using?
set dt must be about 3 times dx (horizontal resolution).

set abatm = 3*dt in regcm.in

If problem is not resolved, lower time step (dt). Adjust abatm accordingly
for new time-step.  There is no solution other than lowering the time-step
to the point that model stops crashing.

could you try..
