[RegCNET] error installing Netcdf

[Saidat Opeyemi Balogun]

pls can anyone assist me in providing solution to the error "  
configure: error: Can't find or link to the z library. Turn off
netCDF-4 and      opendap with --disable-netcdf-4 --disable-dap, or
see config.log for errors", i got in configuring netcdf 4.1.3 on ubuntu 10.4 LTS. i will be glad for the help. Attached is the config.log.
