Dear RegCNET colleagues,
Filippo Giorgi, Ashraf Zakey and I are convening a session entitled
"Regional Climate Modeling, projections and impacts (including CORDEX)"
(session number CL5.10) at the EGU General Assembly, to be held 22-27
April 2012 in Vienna, Austria. In past years this has been an exciting
and informative session, one of the top sessions within all of the EGU
climate section. We expect to continue in this tradition given the
strong progress in many modeling groups and the surge in activity for
CORDEX and other projects.
Please note the abstract deadline is Tuesday, 17 January 2012.
EGU provides some possibilities of limited financial support for young
scientists and non-European scientists. For information please see
http://meetings.copernicus.org/egu2012/support_and_distinction/financial_support.html
. Support applications are due not later than 15 December 2011 so
please act quickly if you intend to apply for this.
A link to the session announcement is given at the end of this message.
The EGU meeting is always interesting and Vienna is a beautiful
location. We look forward to seeing you there.
Regards,
Ray Arritt
