[RegCNET] selection of driving GCM

Dear all,
 
I can't decide which data, between HadCM3 and ECHAM5 datasets, I will use as initial and boundary conditions for a climate projection with RegCM-4.0 over the Mediterranean region. I am also wondering if there is a comparison of the performance of GCMs over some regions of the world, anywhere in the web that I could consult. Any help would be invaluable.
