Hi Xuejia,

You can use the template option in GraDs to open all the nc files as one file. Just go to the following link and see which works for your purpose. It will solve your problem.

Otherwise I can give you a FERRET code that will do the job for you. Let me know if you are familiar with FERRET.

for this, an ideal tool is CDO (climate data operator). Find the
documentation at

For Your purposes, You should use it like

cdo mergetime ifile1 ifile2 ifile3 ifile4 ofile

 where ifile1, ifile2 etc are the files that contain the same data of
same dimensions, only the time coordinates are different. The ofile is
the name of the output file.
