Dear RegCNETers,
The Centre of Excellence for Climate Change Research (CECCR) at King
Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia announces new applications
for two years Master Degree Scholarship Program starting Fall 2011, the
deadline to submit applications is 31st March 2011. These scholarships
(Master in Meteorology) are available in the Department of Meteorology at
KAU. The newly admitted students may have the opportunity to join CECCR
funded research projects.
The following conditions must be fulfilled for the scholarship:
1. B.Sc. degree/certificate (at least very good/first class) in Meteorology,
Physics, or Mathematics.
2. The graduation should not be more than 5 years from the application date.
3. TOEFL score of 500 (paper based or equivalent) or 5.5 band in IELTS.
The scholarships are for two years, and include the following basic
benefits:
1. Monthly stipend: 2000 Saudi Riyal (1USD = 3.75 Saudi Riyal).
2. Accommodation in the university dorms.
3. Health Care.
4. Yearly return air ticket to the applicants' home country.
5. Tuition fee waiver.
