[RegCNET] about RegCM3

Hello,
I am a teacher ofNanjingUniversity ofInformation and Science Technology,China. I want to use RegCM3 to model east Asian summer monsoon. But I heard that this model does not apply to south of the equator. Is it true?
If it is true, could you tell me the reason? Thanks!
