[RegCNET] Query regarding Climate run in RegCM3

Dear Dr Bi and RegCNET user,

I want to make a climate run for 20 years over the Indian domain.
Can you please suggest me, whether I have to supply all the 20
years initial data at a time before the simulation or any other
method is there.

One more query is that, in the SURFACE data file we are only
supplying  SST, vegetation, topography so how the remaining
parameters i.e. soil moisture, soil temperature, albedo, roughness
length and snow are calculated.
