Hello,

1. I understood that map factors 'xmap' and 'dmap' values should be around 1.0. When I
choose the domain bounded within 30S to 60N with map proj. 'NORMER', the maximum value
is 2.06 (i.e. ranging from 1.1 to 2), is it ok?

2. Also I like to know what should be my PDEF in the ctl after I convert my ATM.****
files obained from model simulations using the SIGMAtoP.f tool. My ATM.***.ctl looks like:

dset ^ATM.*****
title RegCM normal output variables
options big_endian
undef -1.e34
xdef 259 linear 3.3310 0.6745
ydef 159 levels
 -28.10 -27.51 -26.91 -26.30 -25.70 -25.09 -24.47 -23.86 -23.24 -22.62
.....
.....
  58.16 58.51 58.86 59.21 59.55 59.89 60.23 60.56 60.89

and ds=75.0, clat=23.00, clon=90.00 ...

I need help and suggestions for #1 as well.

With Regards,

Mahakur
