Hello
here is an example of nameliste for 4 dusrt bins . ntr =4 , nbin =4
$chemparam
idirect = 1,
"calculate a clear sky aeroso sw radiative forcing , WITHOUT climatic
feedback , set to 2 if you want a climatic feedback of aerosols, set to
0 if you are not inrterested in forcing but just transport.
chtrname = 'DUST','DUST','DUST','DUST',
"specify DUST aerosols"
chtrsol = 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00,
"this is a parameter that control wet deposition , a sort of solubility
", set to 0 will result in no wet deposition , set to 1 to a very
hygrophilic particles ( like sulfate) ... see solmon et al. and zakey
et al., here dust are considered as totally hydrophobic ..
chtrdpv = 0.00000,0.00000,0.00000,0.00000,0.00000,0.00000,0.00000,0.00000,
" this parameter is an aerosol dry deposition velocity over land and
over sea. This parameter does not matter for the dust because an
explicit size derpendant dry deposition is used. This parameter is only
valid when you use sulfate or carbon aerosol. In the next version , an
explicit deposition scheme will be added for any kind of aerosol, and
this parameter will be suppressed.
dustbsiz = 0.01, 1.00, 1.00, 2.50, 2.50, 5.00, 5.00,20.00,
The most important for dust: it specifies the bins size . Note that if
you have for bins , you must define 8 sizes ..here the first bins is
0.01 to 1 microm, the second 1 to 2.5 and so on ..
Hope it helps
Fabien
