Hi,
I am facing problems regarding RegCM3 aerosol simulation.
I am surprised to find that the aerosol extinctions (aext8) are the same for
all atmospheric layers. Same is the case with all tracer mixing
ratios. There is absolutely no difference in their magnitudes at different
heights (sigma pressure levels). Can any one tell why is this happening? I
am not able to understand if there is something wrong in the RegCM3 code
or I am making some mistakes ?
Long back Bi had sent an email mentioning improvements regarding
RegCM3/aerosol code.
One of them was related to the code RegCM/Main/aermix.F . I am sending my
aermix.F routine along with this mail and I would like to know if the bug
found aermix.F has been fixed in my code. I have downloaded RegCM3 very
recently from the ICTP website.
I would also like to know if the bug found in AEROSOL.dat has been updated
in the aerosol data available in the ICTP website.
Sincere regards,
Dilip.
