Dear Csaba

>From my point of view the CRU precipitation data is good value for large
domains but for specific regions of Europe is not a "golden rule".
Especially when you look in high resolutions like 10x10 km and in regions
with complex topography. In our domain in Greece, we saw that from
comparisons of precipitation station data in Greece with CRU we had
differences. So I think and I aggree with Gao that for high resolution
simulations for specific domain it is important to compare also with
station data or even better with gridded data produced from precipitation
station data of the region.
