Dear Yan,

Is it possible that your precipitation is too low?  In other words, your 
soils might be drying out and causing an increase in sensible heat 
because there is too little precipitation (i.e. infiltration).  What 
convection scheme/closure are you using?  We have found that with the 
Grell/FC scheme, precipitation in South America is way to low, but with 
the MIT/Emanuel scheme (icup=4) the dry bias is removed.
