European Mobility Week

Next week, Trieste is celebrating the European Mobility Week (Settimana
Europea della Mobilita) with a number of activities aimed at motivating
people to walk and bike.

The annual campaign, which takes place from 16-22 September each year,
is organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for
Mobility and Transport and seeks to improve quality of life through
promoting clean mobility and sustainable urban transport.

This year is focusing on "safe walking and cycling" and the ways active
mobility can benefit our health and the environment.

For more information please see the attached brochure which details
activities that will take place in Trieste starting from TOMORROW, 14th
September in Rotonda del Boschetto 6 from 3pm to 5pm, where some
pedal-assisted bikes will be available for a free ride.
