Tomorrow (9 May), SISSA will be hosting an event that highlights the

importance of networking among female scientists. Titled "When women in

science get together: The role of networks", the all-day conference
will

networks
in science as well as major challenges and advancements. The
event will
be opened by Marica Branchesi, astrophysicist from the Gran
Sasso
Science Institute of L’Aquila, with the talk "Women in
AstroPhysics: the
new exploration of the Universe through gravitational

scientists by the
magazine Nature for her contribution to the discovery
of gravitational
waves.
