ICTP is pleased to announce that the next ICTP Colloquium on "The 
virtual fibering conjecture" by Professor Ian Agol from the University 
of California Berkeley, will take place on Wednesday 1 June at 16.30 in 
the Budinich Lecture Hall, Leonardo Building, ICTP.

Professor Agol is the recipient of the 2016 Breakthrough Prize in 
Mathematics (https://breakthroughprize.org/News/29) for spectacular 
contributions to low dimensional topology and geometric group theory.

The announcement is attached.

Light refreshments will be served after the lecture.
