*French Air Traffic Controllers Strike on 26**th **January *

**

We would like to inform that, as communicated by the French Directorate 
General for Civil Aviation, two of France's largest aviation sector 
unions - SNCTA and USAC-CGT - called on *air traffic controllers to join 
in a nationwide strike planned for 26th January.*

*Impact and info *

SNCTA says that *the action could disrupt 40-50 percent of flights*. The 
Directorate General for Civil Aviation has instructed *airlines to 
prepare a 20-percent flight reduction program *for following airports: 
Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris Orly, Beauvais-Tillé, Lyon-Saint-Exupéry, 
Nice Cote d'Azur, Marseille Provence, Bordeaux-Mérignac, 
Toulouse-Blagnac and Nantes Atlantique.

*The travellers are encouraged to check the status of your flight *on 
the airport’s or airline’s websites.
