French Air Traffic Controllers Strike on 26th
January
We
would like to inform that, as communicated by the French
Directorate General for Civil Aviation, two of France's
largest aviation sector unions - SNCTA and USAC-CGT - called
on
air traffic controllers to join in a nationwide strike
planned for 26th January.
Impact

SNCTA
says that
the action could disrupt 40-50 percent of flights. The
Directorate General for Civil Aviation has instructed
airlines to prepare a 20-percent flight reduction program
for following airports: Paris Charles de Gaulle, Paris
Orly, Beauvais-Tillé, Lyon-Saint-Exupéry, Nice Cote d'Azur,
Marseille Provence, Bordeaux-Mérignac, Toulouse-Blagnac and
Nantes Atlantique.
The

on the
airport’s or airline’s websites.
