TOMORROW FIRST TRIESTE MINI MAKER FAIRE EVENT AT ICTP

Tomorrow the first Trieste Mini Maker Faire event will be held on ICTP's campus,
as part of the celebration of the Centre's 50th anniversary. All scientists, visitors
and staff are invited to come to this event and to take part in the celebration.

We expect to have several thousands of visitors to explore the over 100
stalls/desks with the 270 makers and inventors.
There will be a lot to see, discover, learn and enjoy with inventions,
creative ideas, original projects, talks, shows, music, food and much more.
Carlo Fonda has calculated that it might take 4 hours to see everything!

Many staff, post docs and consultants have signed up as volunteers
and will, with their support, ensure that this event will be a success. There will
also be many external volunteers who will assist on the stands.

Please use the public transportation to come to ICTP on Saturday. From
09:00 there will be double capacity on the bus line nr 6: extra
buses will depart every 15 minutes from the bus stop in Viale Miramare opposite
the train station (in front of "Parisi", after Pam) in between the
normal bus departures, so every 7 minutes there should be a departure.

Do come with your friends and families, this will be an unforgettable
experience not to be missed!
