We would like to inform you that the airport of Catania has been closed
due to the intense volcanic activity of Etna, resulting in the
cancellation of all departing and arriving flights. The Crisis Unit has
planned the closing until 12 a.m. today, when the decision will be
updated; even if the airport reopened, delays and cancellations would be
expected all day long.

We also report that air traffic controllers of Palermo Airport have
called a sudden strike of 8 hours today, from 10 to 18, which could
cause some delays and cancellations. It is advisable to check the status
