Series of three events dedicated to Franco Basaglia

     We wish to inform you that the Municipality of Trieste will 
organize a series of three events dedicated to the famous and 
internationally renowned psychiatrist Franco Basaglia (1924-1980), 
founder of the modern concept of mental health in Trieste and whose 
innovations, in the seventies, are still operative today.

     These 3 events will take place at the Miela Theatre downtown, in 
Piazza Luigi Amedeo Duca degli Abruzzi 3.

- Tomorrow, 23 November at 17.30 Presentation of a biography on 
Basaglia, healer of the insane.
- Friday, 30 November at 17.30 Presentation of the archives related to 
mental health in order to revive interest in the topic and give help to 
those who have experiences with persons affected by such problems.
- Tuesday, 11 December at 17.00 Presentation of Marco Paolini's book 
'Vite indegne di essere vissute' (Lives unworthy to be lived)

     Free admission.
