UK public sector strike on 30 Nov 2011

For travellers to the United Kingdom, please note that there will be a 
public sector strike on 30 November 2011


The strike will also involve transports and in particular the UKBA staff 
(border checks in the UK airports).
As a consequence, strong delays could happen at passport control.

Regarding  trains, the UK Department for Transport is expecting limited 
disruptions to rail services.
The TfL (Transport for London) is expecting services to run as normal. 
However, travellers can visit the website www.tfl.gov.uk for updates.
In Northern Ireland Translink will join the strike with consequent 
disruptions for trains and buses.
