Recently, the American Physical Society put in place a CAPTCHA system to 
ensure that the PDF request is generated by a person.
They had to implement this extra step to prevent sustained, illegal, 
systematic downloading of their content.

Unfortunately, as you may have experienced, the CAPTCHA system is 
causing problems.

Suggested solution is: clear your browser's cache, and either reload, or 
restart the browser.

Unfortunately, this is not always sufficient. We are working to find a 
permanent solution.

In the meantime if you have problems with APS articles, please send an 
email to <library at ictp.it>
with subject "APS-CAPTCHA Problems", or come to the Library.
