Inauguration of Latin American Cinema at ICTP on 23 Oct

I am pleased to inform you that the XXV Festival of Latin American 
Cinema will be inaugurated tomorrow, 23 October, at ICTP. The 
inauguration ceremony will take place in the Main Lecture Hall of the 
Leonardo Building at 20:30. For more information:

A small reception for the participants in the event will be organised 
starting from 19:30 in the foyer of the Leonardo Building.

The inauguration of the festival will be followed by the presentation of 
the film "La Balena" from an idea of Roberto Rossellini, later developed 
by another director, on the situation of human rights in Latin America.

Upon presentation of the ICTP badge at the box office of the Teatro 
Miela, a discount can be obtained for the subscription to the full week 
of the Festival (EURO 15 instead of EURO 25); very favourable conditions 
are also foreseen for entry to single movies.
