*"Un Magnifico Ritrattista", Giuseppe Barison, *(1853 -- 1951), well 
known for his portraits and water colours, depicting 19^th and early 
20^th century lifestyles in Trieste. At Palazzo Gopcevich in Via Rossini 
until 29 June, visiting time every day 9:00 -- 19:00.

*"50 years of History", *a photography -- documentary exhibition of the 
Santorio Hospital, (new SISSA building in the forthcoming years) at the 
Biblioteca Statale in Largo Papa Giovanni (take bus 8). Visiting time

*"L'Italia Era Già Qui", *a new collection of contemporary works of art
