On Saturday 14 June , there will be a special guided tour by coach only 
for ICTP visitors and families to Udine (about 84 km from Trieste) *with 
an English-speaking guide.*

*Udine, located in the heart of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, is a 
beautiful medieval Venetian style city, full of history and culture, 
dominated by a castle built in the XVI century over Lombard ruins. Visit 
the Loggia del Lionello (1448) with its Venetian-Gothic architecture, 
the Castle and its prestigious museums embellished by the frescoes of 
Giambattista Tiepolo.*

The discounted contribution requested for the tour is only *5 euro/head* 
- payable when you sign up. While in Udine, you may decide to go on the 
_extra, optional_, visit to Tiepolo's Gallery: The  entrance ticket 
costs 5 euro/head and is payable on the spot.

*MEETING POINT* at 9.20 a.m near Bus stop 36 in Grignano seaside where 
you'll see the coach and meet your guide.

*DEPARTURE TIME* at 9.30 a.m and return at 1.30 p.m.

*Come to the Info Point, Leonardo Building*, *and sign up as soon as 
possible as it is on a first-come, first-serve basis.*
