On Saturday 14 June , there will be a special guided tour by coach only for ICTP visitors and families to Udine (about 84 km from Trieste) with an English-speaking guide.

Udine, located in the heart of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, is a beautiful medieval Venetian style city, full of history and culture, dominated by a castle built in the XVI century over Lombard ruins. Visit the Loggia del Lionello (1448) with its Venetian-Gothic architecture, the Castle and its prestigious museums embellished by the frescoes of Giambattista Tiepolo.

The discounted contribution requested for the tour is only 5 euro/head - payable when you sign up. While in Udine, you may decide to go on the extra, optional, visit to Tiepolo’s Gallery: The  entrance ticket costs 5 euro/head and is payable on the spot.

MEETING POINT at 9.20 a.m near Bus stop 36 in Grignano seaside where you'll see the coach and meet your guide.

DEPARTURE TIME at 9.30 a.m and return at 1.30 p.m.

Come to the Info Point, Leonardo Building, and sign up as soon as possible as it is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
