*Friday 15 August at 15:00, a special demonstration with a team of 
Austrian and Italian speleologists who will descend the grotto's cavity 
with ropes in memory of their colleagues who discovered the cavity in 
1840. (No extra costs on ticket purchase.) *You can easily get there by 
bus 42 from Piazza Oberdan in Trieste and get off at Borgo 
Grotta-Sgonico. Visiting time from 10:00 -18:00 with a guided tour every
