*LA BAVISELA Sports and Entertainment in Trieste continues this week 
until 4 May. *As every year this edition presents a rich sports 
programme, competitions and races with collateral events.

Sports: Sailing regattas, Ski- Roll competition, Orienteering, Bike 
Ride, Triathlon, Motorbike, Kids' Marathon,  *culminating on 4 May with 
the 41 km European Marathon: from Gradisca to Trieste and The 
"Two-Castles Marathon from Duino to San Giusto.*

Music, entertainment and art exhibitions at the *Bavisela** Village* at 
the Molo IV (after the central railway station and right next to the

*URSUS*, an old sea crane at *Molo IV*, an amazing location for an art 
exhibition! Admire the works of many contemporary artists.  10:30-12:30

*Marvels of Nature* a photography exhibition by Loris Dilena, with 
pictures taken all around the world. *Sala d'Arte Negrisin*, Piazza

*Guided Tour*: *"Discover Trieste in the footsteps of Policeman 
Laurenti":* The famous character of Veit Heinichen's detective novels 
set in Trieste. A two-hour walk on Sat 03 May at 10:30. Meeting point at

*Re-opening of the San Giusto Castle (Saint Just*) *after restoration 
works.* Built between 1470 and 1630, rises up from the hill in the heart 
of the ancient city centre of Trieste. Visit the  museum and armoury  
inside the castle walls.  Visit  the cathedral built in the 14th 
century, and admire its beautiful mosaics. You can also see in the 
surroundings the remains of the ancient Roman city dating back to the 
first and second century. Take bus 24 from the train station. Open Mon
