AQUILEIA TRIP ON SATURDAY 6th OCTOBER

On Saturday 6th October we have booked a special guided tour by
coach only for ICTP visitors and families to AQUILEIA (about 45 km.
from Trieste) with an English-speaking guide.
Departure :  9:30 am.
  It's one of the most interesting sites in this area, an ancient 
marshland settlement, with a
700-year Roman period dating back to 181 B.C. There are old Roman
mosaics in the basilica and old Roman ruins spread out in a lovely
landscape.
The discounted contribution requested for the tour is only 4 euro /head
payable when you sign up, with an extra 2.50 euro/head entrance for the
optional visit of the crypt on the day of the trip.

Come to the Info Point, MB ( 8:48-16:48 ) and sign up as soon as 
possible
as it is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Don't miss it, it's well worth seeing !
