Saturday Trip

This Saturday, 23 September 2006, a trip is being organized for ICTP 
visitors.  If the weather is fine, the itinerary will be Monte Grisa 
(http://www.univ.trieste.it/~itccarli/lat/latsgoni.htm), followed by 
the Val Rosandra Valley (http://www.tergeste.net/RosandraJ.htm  or  
http://www.wcities.com/en/record/,109223/130/record.html).  If it 
rains, the route will be different.  There will still be a stop off at 
Monte Grisa to admire the panorama, but the trip will then proceed to 
the Grotta Gigante (giant cave)

The bus will leave from Piazza Oberdan at 9:30 in the morning, with a 
further pick-up point in Grignano at 10:00.  The return is scheduled 
for 12:30 at Grignano and 13:00 in Piazza Oberdan.

The trip is free of charge, except for admission to the Grotta Gigante, 
for which we have obtained a reduced rate of 4.50 Euro, which will be 
collected on the bus.

If you are interested in taking part in the trip, please come to the 
InfoPoint in the Reception area of the Main Building to sign up.
