A R T  &  E X H I B I T I O N S
ICTP  Main Building, "Quantum_Kaos"  an applied, visual and graphic 
arts Exhibition
Works by several well-known artists who operate mainly in Trieste, 
visible in the MB hall.
Open until 26 May.
Exhibition in the ballroom of the Revoltella Museum (via Diaz, 27) 
entitled "Preview - Andy Warhol's Timeboxes".  Open until 18 July 2006 
as an introduction to the main exhibition which will open on 21 July in 
the renovated fish market (ex-pescheria) in Trieste.  E-mail 
andywarholtrieste at hotmail.com for more information.  The items on 
display here are part of the "Campbell's soup" group, dedicated to 
industry in Pittsburgh, Warhol's home town, which was a recurring 
source of inspiration in his work.
Photographic Exhibition in the Museo Sveviano (piazza Hortis 4) 
entitled "Se hai tempo fatti fotografare" (If you have time have your 
photo taken).  A photographic biography of Italo Svevo.  Open until 11 
September 2006 Mon-Sat 10-13 and Sunday 10-12.  Free entrance.

C H I L D R E N's  A C T I V I T I E S
L'Immaginario Scientifico
This science museum (located on the ground floor level of the Adriatico 
Hotel, entrance at the rear of the hotel, opposite the 36 bus stop) has 
exhibits which are particularly suitable for children.Please take note 
that only this Sunday the opening hours  will be from 15-.00-20.00.
A children's laboratory will be held on Sunday from 15.45-16.45 for 
those aged 4-11.  This week all the children will be making windmills.

can also see the new exhibition which has just opened, and will last 
until 18 June, entitled: Viaggiando Immaginando.

C I N E M A
If you want to see a film in English, go to Cinecity at the Torri 
d'Europa shopping centre (bus nr. 8 from the train station) offers one 
or two films per week in the original language by means of a pair of 
headphones provided by the cinema upon request. For enquiries call:

M U S I C  &  C O N C E R T S
On Saturday evening there will be a great concert in Molo Audace at 
21:00 hrs. by the  Matia Bazar  band, followed by  fireworks.

S P O R T S
On Sunday, May 7th  at 10.00 a.m. there will be the " BAVISELA" non 
competitive race.
This is a very important event for the city, with thousands of 
participants.
If anybody would like to partecipate, they should get in touch with  
Mr. Carlo Fonda (cfonda at ictp.it) who wants to organize groups of ICTP 
participants.
The registration fee is 8 Euros, inclusive of the official Bavisela T- 
shirt and other items.

T O U R S
Trieste by Bus
Every Saturday a bus leaves for a tour of Trieste from in front of the 
train station at 14.00.  It takes in all of the main sights to see 
downtown, and there is also a 30-minute stop at St. Giusto Castle, 
where you can walk along the Castle walls or visit the Cathedral or 
simply enjoy the spectacular views.  Tickets may be bought in the Sala 
Eurostar in the main railway station and cost 5.20 Euro, with children 
under 10 travelling free.
